Blue pottery does not easily develop cracks. Even Though handle it with care while using it. Wash gently with soap and water. In case if dust accumulates in the product, use oil and rub with soft cloth to retain the shine. Some products are made up of cracked mosaic glass and hence handle with care while using it.
